The US proved Gas Reserve Life Index (RLI) of the top 30 gas producers decreased to 11.8 years in 2019 from 13.3 years in 2018. Production from the top 30 gas producers increased to 12.6 Tcf in 2019, up 4% from 12.1 Tcf in 2018. The average reserves life index for the 30 largest US companies is 12.5 years. Range has highest reserves life index 21 years followed by SilverBow and Comstock. Apache, Shell, Cimarex have lowest reserves life index.
