Since 2007 Arkoma production was focused on Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas and Woodford Shale in Oklahoma. Both Shales are now mature. Currently there is no drilling in Fayetteville and only one rig operates in Woodford. Incorrys does not expect any development in Arkoma after 2030.
Incorrys does not expect any significant new gas production in Arkoma basin. Production peaked in 2012 at 3.1 Bcf/d and declined to 1.4 Bcf/d in 2020. Existing production will continue to decline and reach just under 0.4 Bcf/d in 2020. Average first year decline in 2020 was 67%.
Arkoma Gas Well Initial Productivity
The average new well initial productivity in 2020 was over 2.0 MMcf/d and is expected to decline to 1.0 MMcf/d by 2027.
Arkoma Well Count
Approximately 8800wells have been drilled since 2000.
Arkoma Rig Count
The Arkoma rig count averaged under 8 in 2018 (peaking at 9) and has declined to just 1 rig currently.
Arkoma Gas EURÂ
The Estimated Ultimate Recovery (EUR) increased from about 2.5 Bcf/well in 2010 to peak at 8.5 Bcf/well in 2018. It has declined further to just 3.2 Bcf/well in 2020 and is expected to continue to fall thererafter.
