The major players in coal production collectively account for more than 85% of the global coal production projected for 2030. Notably, China, India, and Russia are expected to sustain production growth throughout the forecast period. Nevertheless, China is anticipated to reach a plateau in 2029, coinciding with the full-scale operation of new renewable facilities. In contrast, all other prominent coal-producing nations are expected to witness a decline in coal production through the year 2030.
