* Does not Include associated gas production from condensate wells.
Associated gas production in selected US basins increased to 28.4 Bcf/d in 2023 up from 1.5 Bcf/d in 2010 driven by the increase in the gas/oil ratios within Tight Oil basins. Incorrys estimates that associated gas production in 2031-2037 will reach almost 38 Bcf/d due to the corresponding increase in crude oil production coupled with growth in the gas/oil ratio in Tight Oil basins. Raw associated gas production from primarily Tight Oil basins. These basins represent 67% of total oil and lease condensate production. Most associated gas in Alaska is injected. Associated gas production from other basins is not estimated.
